BRISTOL Ct.- Washington DC defeated Berlin 7-6 in the opening game of the Little League Mid-Atlantic regional tournament. 

It was a nerve-racking game for both sets of fans and DC scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to steal a victory. Starting off Berlin scored their first three runs of the game off of bases loaded walks. In the fourth inning Jonah Isett hit a sacrifice fly that made it 4-1 and Cooper Smith drive in a run with a single that made it 5-1. In the top of the fifth Cole Brown hit a sacrifice fly that made it 6-3. DC took advantage of errors and were able to plate four in the bottom of the fifth and got the 7-6 win.
