Odessa and Indian River faced off in Thursday night football. The Ducks won 27-14.

TOWNSEND, Del- Odessa and Indian River kicked off their season with a Thursday night football matchup. In the first quarter, Odessa held the lead 7-0. Still within the first quarter, Indian River answered back and tied the score 7-7. In the second quarter, the Indians took the lead 14-7. Odessa went on to score in the third quarter, but missed their extra point attempt; changing Indian River's lead to a score of 14-13. In the fourth quarter, Odessa took the lead and scored two additional touchdowns, giving the Ducks a final winning score of 27-14.
