COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Kent Island girls' basketball fell a game short of a perfect 26-0 season with a 53-33 loss to Henry E. Lackey in the MPSSAA 2A State Final.
The Lady Buccaneers became the first team in school history -- boys or girls -- to make the state final in basketball. Allison Corbin led KI with 14 points.
