GEORGETOWN, DE -- The Indian River Boys' Lacrosse team moved its winning streak to six games earlier today, as they took care of business at Sussex Academy by a score of 10-5.

The Indians controlled this one from start to finish, never trailing after Maxwell Forrey netted the game's first goal at the six minute mark of the first quarter.

They took that lead and got in a groove for the rest of the half, going into the break up 5-1. After building a 9-2 lead in the fourth quarter, Sussex would respond by scoring three of the next four goals, but Indian River was able to slow the game down enough to secure the win.

The Indians have been one of the best offensive teams in the Henlopen conference this spring. They have finished every game with at least double-digit goals this season and every win has been by at least five goals or more.

At 7-1, they now look ahead to a big time tilt next Monday at 6:00, when they welcome the undefeated Middletown Cavaliers. For the Seahawks, they drop to 2-4 on the year and will now prepare for their next matchup against Woodbridge on Friday at 4:00.
