GEORGETOWN, Del-- Sussex Academy and Milford faced off in field hockey Thursday night. In the first quarter, Bria Leyanna of Milford scored the Buccaneers' first goal of the night, giving Milford a 1-0 lead. In the second quarter, Shea Danahy of Sussex Academy answered back by tying the score 1-1. Shortly after, Bailey Mears scored the tie breaking goal for the Seahawks, giving Sussex Academy a 2-1 lead. 

For the remainder of the night, Milford and Sussex Academy tried to add more goals to the board, but both teams refused to let the other score. Sussex Academy walked away with a 2-1 victory. The Seahawks are now 2-2 on the season.
