Alex Garcia Velasquez had a brace for the Ravens.

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Sussex Tech closed out its regular season the way it wanted to, with a 2-1 comeback-proof, home-field win over Indian River.

The Ravens came out with their foot on the gas, pinning Indian River back and flooding the attacking third. The pressure paid off in the 15th minute, when Alex Garcia Velasquez broke the deadlock to give Tech a 1-0 lead. The rest of the half played out much the same, with the Ravens dictating the tempo.
