Eagles Await Cape Henlopen In Rematch of 2022 and 2021 State Games

NEWARK, De. -- The Smyrna Eagles' Field Hockey team is now one win away from fully defending their 2022 state title, as they advanced to the state championship yet again with a commanding 6-1 victory over the Charter School of Wilmington earlier tonight.

After falling down 1-0 in the opening minute of the second quarter, Smyrna turned on the offense, netting three goals throughout the rest of the quarter en route to the five-goal win.
