MILFORD, De. -- The Milford Buccaneers' (11-4) Boys' Soccer team knocked off the undefeated Delcastle Cougars (13-1-1) earlier tonight in a wild back-and-forth affair.

After 75 minutes of the play, this game appeared destined for overtime after Delcastle's Diego Pedroza-Luna took advantage of a perfectly placed pass from Bradley Zavala; sending one into the back of the net with just five minutes left in regulation to tie the game up at 3-3.

However, with less than two minutes remaining, Milford benefited off of a fortuitous bounce. From twenty-five yards out, Junior Emmanuel Joseph sent one on goal that caromed off the diving Delcastle goaltender, and trickled into the back of the net to give the Bucs a 4-3 lead.

That lead would stand until the final whistle, as the Bucs fended off a Cougar corner in the final seconds to secure the upset victory.

Outside of Joseph's game-winning goal, other offensive producers included Freedly Napoleon, who scored twice and assisted on Joseph's goal. Rikelmer Ramirez-Arreaga chipped in another goal to knot the game up at 2-2 in the 47th minute.

With Milford's regular season now done, they will be heading into the DIAA playoffs with a boost of confidence and a surge of momentum as a result of this victory.
