DELMAR, De.- Delmar and Colonel Richardson faced off in football Friday night. In the first quarter, Delmar held a 6-0 lead. In the second quarter, Colonel Richardson answered back with a touchdown, tying the score 6-6. The Colonels then scored a two point conversion, taking the lead 8-6. Still in the second quarter, Colonel Richardson's Evan Alexander fumbled the ball. It was Delmar's Darius Carter who recovered it and ran the ball in for a touchdown; giving the lead back to the Wildcats with a score of 12-8 with 6:40 left in the second quarter. Delmar went on to secure a 20-14 victory. The Wildcats are now 1-1 on the season.
