LEWES, Del-- Cape Henlopen and St. Georges Tech faced off in football Friday night. In the first quarter, Tyrone Handy of Cape Henlopen scored the first touchdown of the night, giving the Vikings a 6-0 lead. Cape Henlopen held the lead until Ayden Jones of St. Georges Tech tied the score 6-6 in the second quarter. The Hawks went on to score a one point conversion, take the lead with a score of 7-6.

Going into the fourth quarter, St. Georges Tech held a 21-14 lead. Handy then scored a touchdown, changing the Hawks' lead to a close score of 21-20. With 2:27 left in the game, it was Quardell Richards of Cape Henlopen who scored the final touchdown of the night, giving the Vikings a 26-21 lead. Cape Henlopen went on to win 28-23. The Vikings are now 6-4 on the season.
