For the first time since 2019, the Wicomico Tribe have reached the 2A State Finals following a 66-51 victory over Southern-AA. The Tribe trailed 32-31 at halftime giving up twenty points in the first quarter alone. In the second half, Wicomico held the Bulldogs to only 19 total points including just four in the third quarter. 

The Tribe now look ahead to Henry E. Lackey who defeated Middletown 59-51. This will also be the final game for the legendary Butch Waller who is in his final season as head coach for the Wi-Hi Tribe as he looks to win his second state championship and the first since the 2002 season. Tipoff is set for Tuesday, March 17th at 7:30pm from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.
