BERLIN Md. – Stephen Decatur High School has named a new head football coach, and it’s a familiar face. Russell Croteau will take over the program after spending the past six seasons as the Seahawks’ offensive coordinator. During that time, Croteau helped send multiple athletes on to play college football and played a key role in winning two state championships.

Croteau replaces former head coach Jake Coleman, who announced earlier this month that he was stepping down after leading Stephen Decatur to unprecedented success, including a 28-game winning streak. This will not be Croteau’s first coaching stop, as he has also spent time on the coaching staffs at Easton High School and Salisbury University.
