BERLIN, MD. -- Stephen Decatur field hockey had their Senior Night and was up against a familiar Bayside South Opponent who wanted to spoil the Seahawks night. The James M. Bennett Clippers came into Louis H. Taylor Stadium excited for some field hockey, and they showed why they can compete with the best teams around.

Unfortunately for the Clippers though, the Seahawks were determined to win. What was a defensive battle through three quarters, eventually became a nail biting game where anything could happen. Bailey Griffin would score off a penalty stroke in the fourth quarter to take the lead 1-0 for Decatur, but with about a minute to go in the game, Delaney Reynold tied it up for the Clippers.Â
