Berlin, M.D. — With a win in its regular season finale, Stephen Decatur claimed the Bayside South and now meets Kent Island for the Bayside Championship. Decatur took down Parkside Friday night, 14-5. The Seahawks started off hot, scoring four goals in the first quarter before taking a 9-2 lead into half.

Seniors Ashton March and John Fohner combined for six scores, with each having a hat trick. With the loss, Parkside dropped to 9-3 and while its hopes for the Bayside are lost, the Rams' postseason aspirations remain alive in the 2A state playoffs beginning next Thursday the 7th. After their victory, the Seahawks improved to 8-4 with a sixth straight win. Decatur returns to the field Monday the 4th against Kent Island for the Bayside Championship at 7:00 on DSN+, in a rematch of last year’s title game that the team from Berlin won.
