Willie Sydnor Scholarship Fund Brings North Dorchester Alumni Together

HURLOCK, Md-- The Willie Sydnor Scholarship Fund Alumni Basketball Games took place April 24th and 25th. Participants ranged from the class of 2025 to the class of 1970. Since 1990, the yearly event has brought the community together for a good cause - to raise scholarship money for current North Dorchester students. Willie Sydnor, who the scholarship is in memoriam of, was a former counselor at the school from 1971 to 1993. Sydnor's passion for helping students succeed continues to influence both previous and current North Dorchester students.
