Ava Twilley finished with over 10 strikeouts in seven innings. 

MARDELA SPRINGS, MD. -- The Mardela Warriors defeated Sussex Central 5-1 at home.

The Twilley sisters were a huge part of the victory. Ava threw a full seven innings with over 10 strikeouts in the circle, nearly throwing a perfect game until the top of the seventh. Ella hits a 2-RBI double to give her team the initial lead in the bottom of the second.
