Highlights: Mardela Girls Basketball goes on late run to defeat Pocomoke

MARDELA SPRINGS, MD. -- The Mardela Warriors basketball squad has been off to a hot start this season. But the Pocomoke Warriors came into Mardela Springs looking to put another loss on Mardela's record.

The first half was a defensive battle, with it ending 9-8 with Pocomoke having the lead. Mardela would overtake the game in the third quarter, but in the fourth is when Pocomoke started to get hot offensively. They would go on a 9-0 run all the way until four minutes were left in the game.
