STEVENSVILLE Md. - Kent Island field hockey defeated Crisfield 2-1 on Monday evening.

Kent Island senior Parker Tengwall scored a third quarter brace that eventually gave the Buccaneers the win. Kent Island dominated the first three quarters controlling the ball and ripping off shots but could not score. It wasn't until the third that Tengwall scored twice in the final two minutes and put KI ahead going into the final quarter. The Crabbers were able to get one back with a corner and Alliana Raab backhanded the goal in. Crabbers had a chance to tie the game with a last second corner, but it was blocked and Kent Island hung on to win 2-1.
