CAMBRIDGE Md.- Laurel football defeated Cambridge-South Dorchester 28-21 on Friday night. 

A slow first half turned into a explosive fourth quarter between the Bulldogs and the Vikings. In the week three Henlopen vs Bayside matchup Laurel struck first with two rushing touchdowns, the first by Derick Worthy and the second by Carter Maddox. Laurel had a 12-0 lead at the half. CSD responded in the second half with two Nate Twilley touchdown passes to Da'Mari Todd and they took a 14-12 lead. In the fourth quarter the teams exchanged touchdowns and with 0:39 seconds to go in the game and CSD had 21-20 lead until Micah Niblett hit Ashton Ayres-Lucas over the middle and it gave Laurel the lead and they would eventually win the game 28-21.
