HIGHLIGHTS: Cambridge-South Dorchester Football Falls Just Short In 1A Region Semifinals, 24-21 To Perryville.

PERRYVILLE, Md. -- The Cambridge-South Dorchester Vikings nearly eliminated their second top three seeded team in the MPSSAA 1A East Semifinals tonight; but the 3-seed Perryville Panthers managed to squeak out a 24-21 victory on a game-winning James Abrams 40-yard field goal in the final minute.

The Vikings were coming off a thrilling 27-26 road victory over 2-seed Colonel Richardson in the 1A East Quarterfinals last Friday night, and were looking like they were in a prime position to get a similar result over the 2-seed tonight.
