Coach Who Makes a Difference: Shamya Stover

CAMBRIDGE, M.D. -- Shamya Stover was once a player and student walking through the halls of Cambridge South Dorcester. Years, later, she found herself  coaching and teaching in the same building that was her home for four years. Paying it forward comes naturally to Stover, which is why she was named a Coach Who Makes a Difference sponsored by Preston Motors. 

Stover is the head coach of the Varsity and JV girl's basketball teams at CSD. She's had success for years and her players say she doesn't just treat you like just another player, but as an extension of her family. A well deserved reward for a well respected coach and person.
