OLNEY, Md. - It was a night for Gatorade baths for the Kent Island Buccaneers' Baseball team last night in the MPSSAA 2A State Semifinals, as the Jack Cheney led squad thrashed the C. Milton Wright Mustangs 11-1 in just five innings to advance to the state championship this weekend.

The story of this game was clear - the Buccaneers played a clean game in the field and Mustangs did not. That four run first inning that set the tone for Kent Island was boosted by four CMW errors; the first of seven total on the night for the 8-seeded Mustangs.
