WILMINGTON, Del. — Salesianum punched its ticket back to the DIAA state final with a dominant 19-5 win over Caesar Rodney on Tuesday at Fusco Memorial Field. The Sallies came out fast and never looked back, opening with a goal from Drew Motta and extending their lead with highlight plays from Luca Pompeii, Tyler Stukis, and Christopher Cobb. By halftime, Salesianum had built a commanding 12-4 lead, thanks in part to aggressive defense and crisp passing in transition.

Despite a strong second-quarter push from the Riders, including goals from Parker Smith and Ian Betts, Salesianum’s balanced attack proved too much. Patrick Williams' defensive stop and ensuing goal helped shift momentum back to the Sallies, who continued to pour it on in the second half. The defending state champs now move on to the DIAA final, seeking back-to-back titles and another chapter in their storied lacrosse legacy.
