WOODSIDE, Del. — The Polytech Panthers exploded offensively Thursday afternoon, cruising to a 12-0 mercy rule win over the Charter School of Wilmington Forces in a dominant midday baseball matchup. Hermes Rodriquez got the Panthers started in the second inning with a sharp grounder that forced a throwing error, allowing the game's first run to cross. Later that inning, William Harvey and Ryan Zimmerman each came through with clutch hits, including a two-RBI double by Zimmerman that extended the lead to 4-0.

Rodriquez stayed hot in the third with a two-RBI triple to right field, helping Polytech widen the gap. By the late innings, the Panthers had built an insurmountable 11-0 advantage before Elikem Dulin’s RBI single capped the scoring. The game ended via mercy rule, with Polytech improving their record and showcasing their offensive depth and defensive strength throughout the contest.
