DOVER, Del. — Lake Forest edged Dover 3-2 in a tightly contested Henlopen Conference baseball game Wednesday. The Spartans struck early in the third inning with RBIs from Braydon Martin and Julian Christman to take a 3-0 lead.

Dover responded in the fourth, taking advantage of two throwing errors to score twice and cut the deficit to one. A standout defensive play by Carter Bean in center helped keep the Senators close.
