Highlights: Thompson's Free Throw With One Second Left Pushes Queen Anne's County To State Quarterfinals Over Easton

CENTREVILLE, Md. -- For the first time since 2016, the Queen Anne's County Boys' Basketball team will be heading to the MPSSAA 2A State Quarterfinals after a thrilling 66-65 victory over Bayside Foe Easton in the regional final earlier today.

After a tightly contested first half which saw Easton go into the break up 32-21, Queen Anne's brought the Lions' den to their feet in the third, as the squads' two 1000-point career scorers in Vincent Gilberto and Collin Woolford began to heat up - helping build a lead that grew to 15 points late in the third quarter.
