SALISBURY, MD -- The Saint Peter and Paul School Girls' Lacrosse team secured a tough 13-9 road victory over Parkside earlier today.

After a back-and-forth first half that saw the game go tied at four into the break, the Rams came out firing early in the second half, as goals from Haley Urban and Raegan Becker put Parkside up 6-4.

The Sabres quickly answered though, as Avery McCall and Evelyn Murphy each contributed goals of their own to take a 7-6 lead. On the other end, Becker added another on a free position to bring the game back to a tie at 7-7 as a back-and-forth game began to brew.

However, Saint Peter and Paul quickly took full control, as they built a sizeable four-goal lead with snipes from Morgan Quade and Kathryn Murphy, which would be enough to help them outlast Parkside for the victory.

The Sabres won't have to wait long for their next cross conference Bayside opponent, as they face the Kent Island Buccaneers in Stevensville this Friday at 4:00.

Parkside drops to 0-1 on the season and will look to rebound in their next matchup, which is also at Kent Island, next Tuesday at 5:30.
