Heartbreakers Win 9-8 With a Walk Off Triple Against The Lakeshore Lightning in the 10U USSSA Tournament

Salisbury MD.-- On a hot sunny day at the USSSA 10U tournament the Heartbreakers faced off against the Lakeshore Lightning.

In the first inning the Heartbreakers took the lead with an RBI double from Megan Ritzer. In the top of the 2nd Lakeshore took the lead 3-1 with the help from Avistin White who had a 2 RBI double. In the 4th, Lakeshore extended their lead to 6-1. The Heartbreakers did not give up, with hits from Bailey Kline and Jade Nicholson they were able to come back and take the lead 7-6 at the end of the 4th. Top of the 5th, Oakley Wanner hits a 2 RBI double to take the lead back for Lakeshore 8-7. To end the game Briana Hodge hit a 2 RBI walk off triple.
