FELTON, Del. — The Lake Forest Spartans kept their undefeated season alive in thrilling fashion Thursday night with a dramatic 7-4 extra-inning walk-off victory over Sussex Central. Tied at one in the bottom of the fifth, Bayli Glanden launched a solo shot over center field to even the score and shift momentum in favor of the home team.

Sussex Central responded in the later innings, reclaiming the lead with timely hits, including an RBI single from Ava Brock that made it 3-2. After tying the game again in the seventh, the Spartans threatened to walk it off, but Glanden was tagged out at the plate after a pinpoint throw from center field, sending the game into extra innings.
