The Vikings built a strong early lead behind standout performances from Haley Gamuciello, who scored multiple goals including a crucial free position shot in the fourth quarter, and Claire Lopez, who helped orchestrate the early offensive push.

Caesar Rodney, trailing 10-4 in the third quarter, mounted an aggressive response led by Delaney Miklus, Brooke Roberts, and Logan Fuchs, who narrowed the gap to just two goals late in the game.
