CAMDEN, Del. – Caesar Rodney jumped out to an early lead and held off a late push from Sussex Tech to earn a 12-7 Henlopen Conference baseball win Tuesday. The Riders led 6-0 by the fourth inning, highlighted by Kurt Helsdon’s RBI single and a run scored on a wild pitch.

Sussex Tech chipped away with key hits from Rosnell Lewis and Brent Evans to cut the deficit to 6-4. But Caesar Rodney answered with a three-run sixth inning, including RBI plays from Teegan Monroney, Evan Fowler, and Jordan Simms.
