SALISBURY, Md. -- The Shorebirds returned home and delivered their first win of the season at Perdue Stadium, beating the Fayetteville Woodpeckers 3-2 on Wednesday night. 

Evan Yates started and struck out eight in four innings for Delmarva. The Shorebirds combined to strike out 13 and walk just three in the victory. Bryan Bautista recorded the save in his first professional appearance.Â
