SALISBURY, Md. -- The Shorebirds didn't trail until the 10th inning, but that's when they ultimately fell 5-4 to the Nationals. Delmarva is now 3-16 against Fredericksburg this season.

The Birds jumped out to a 4-0 lead early, thanks in large part to a Stiven Martinez two-run home run. The FredNats scored three runs in the top of the 4th inning, then tied the game in the 9th. Fredericksburg then scored the only run in the 10th inning to win the game.
