SALISBURY, Md. -- The Shorebirds just couldn't match the offense of the RidgeYaks in a 9-3 loss on Friday night. The series is now tied 2-2.

Salem jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the second inning. At one point, Delmarva almost pulled within two runs, but a batter's interference erased a run, and that was a bad omen for what was to come.
