MIDDLETOWN, Del. -- The Middletown Cavaliers hosted the Sussex Central Golden Knights for some Friday night football under the lights.

Both teams battled it out, switching from offense to defense often. However, the highlight for the night was Sussex Central as they tried all different ways to get to the endzone, heavily depending on quarterback Cameron Deiter to get the ball moving, and Armon Floyd-Satchell on the ground and Hayden Mahammitt in the air, catching a 30 yard pass that goes even further into the endzone. Middletown was able to stay in, Hanif Miller at the spearhead of that, getting runs and touchdowns all over the field. However, even with a late touchdown in the fourth quarter to put 19 onto Sussex Central's 21, the Cavaliers never saw the ball again. The Sussex Central Golden Knights win it, 21-19.
