NEW CASTLE, Del. -- William Penn hosted Christiana for a Boys' Soccer match on a breezy fall afternoon.

Both teams were tied 1-1 early in the game, fighting for the ball and possession. William Penn scored first, goal courtesy of Alexander Adams with a header straight over the goalkeeper's head and into the net. Oscar Lara-Montano of the Vikings responded with a goal during a penalty kick, striking the ball into the net. With two minutes left in the second half, Christiana took over possession and Yosef Thabet sprinted around the goalkeeper and added another point for the Vikings, score now 2-1. The Colonials tried but were unable to score with the remaining two minutes, giving the Christiana Vikings the win.
