Johnathan Purnell scores 26 points to push the Seahwaks past the Wildcats

BERLIN, M.D. -- Head Coach BJ Johnson returned to the sidelines for Stephen Decatur and helped lead the Seahawks to a 52-49 win in the first round of the 2026 MPSSAA state playoffs. 

Johnathan Purnell lead all scorers with 26 points in the win.
