The Salisbury Christian School girls basketball hosted Gunston High School based out of Centreville Maryland. This game was a nailbiter after losing once before to Gunston by one point the Jaguars were ready for redemption. Down by one in the fourth quarter the Jaguars take the ball out on the sideline and almost lose the ball by Emily Roystuart picked it up and scored putting them up by one. Later on Gunston’s Julia McClary on the free throw line drains the ball tying up the score 46 to 46 .but the lady jaguars can not secure the ball and possession stays with Gunston. With less than 40 seconds left in the game Gunston ball pressure from McClary turns into a steal and the game is back tied this time at 46 points. The Jaguars senior leader Becca Collins scored with ease along the baseline putting them up ,but with a score and a free throw by Julia McClary the Gunston Heron went home with the win 48 to 49.Â
