Laurel Offense Explodes in Win at Seaford

Seaford, DE -- In a rivalry game between a pair of Henlopen South division teams, the Laurel Bulldogs (1-0) beat the Seaford Blue Jays (0-2) 14-0 Tuesday night. The Bulldogs used a six-run third inning and added five in the sixth to put the game out of reach.

Starting pitcher Timmy Jones dominated on the hill. The righty tossed five scoreless innings, allowed just three hits and struck out nine to earn the win. At the late, Royce Scotten had a pair of hits and drove in two runs while Jones, Jayden Snyder and Ryan Webb also drove in two runs.
