Woodbridge looked

It was Championship Saturday in Newark, Delaware. Four state title football games took place, starting with the Class 2A battle between a pair of 12-0 teams in Woodbridge and Archmere.

Both defenses set the tone early forcing punts on the first drive of the game for each offense. The Auks struck first with a 5-yard touchdown run from Declan Pearson. Near the end of the first, Pearson struck again to make it 13-0 after a missed extra point.
