The Vikings held on to a thrilling win at home Tuesday against Sussex Tech to move on in the DIAA Tournament
Lewes, DE -- The Cape Henlopen Vikings had to fight their way past the Sussex Tech Ravens in a classic on the diamond Tuesday night, ultimately outlasting the Ravens in an 11-10 win to advance to the DIAA semifinals.
Paris Mitchell delivered the go-ahead RBI single in the bottom of the sixth with two outs to put the Vikings up 11-10. Cape will play St. Mark's, who beat Salesianum, Thursday in the DIAA semifinals at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington.
