SALISBURY, MD -- First half goals from Megan Underwood and Alyssa Maldonado pushed Parkside Girls' Soccer past Queen Anne's 2-1.

The Rams were clinging to that one goal lead in additional time when Queen Anne's made one last push, with some great chances from Shannon Rath and Sierra Lester. However, Ram goalkeeper Katie Knapp was there to prevent those chances with some excellent stops to help Parkside secure the win.

After Queen Anne's senior Caitlyn Rath scored the game's opening goal just a couple minutes in, Knapp locked down, controlling the game by making the routine and difficult saves.

This loss ends Queen Anne's eight game winning streak, as their record falls to 8-3. They'll look to bounce back at North Dorchester tomorrow. For Parkside, they move to 9-2 with the win, and will prepare for a big matchup against an undefeated James M. Bennett team at home on Wednesday.
