In a back in forth battle the Eagles take the match 3-2.

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks hosted the North Carolina Central University Eagles for a MEAC showdown at the Hytche Center. It was a back and forth battle on Sunday afternoon. A convincing set one from the Eagles as they came out on top 25-15. Maryland Eastern Shore quickly answered, coming out on top of set two 26-24. Another back and forth set was taken by NC Central 25-22. The Hawks would not go down quietly as University of Maryland Eastern Shore took set four 26-24. In the end it would be the Eagles soaring high with a Morgan Wingo kill for match point taking set five 15-12 and winning the match 3-2. Shalyn Bell had a standout performance for the Eagles  tying her season high in kills with 18. For the Hawks, Jayda Hutchins set a new season high in kills with 18.
