UMES Announces Four New Head Coaches Across Athletics Programs

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore announced four new head coaches on Friday. Justin Thomas was named the Hawks' baseball coach, LaMonte Vaughn Jr. was selected to lead the track and field and cross country programs, Chelsea Holliday was named softball coach, and Imanol Davila-Morales was appointed head coach of the men's volleyball team.

The announcements come as UMES continues to invest in and expand its athletics programs. Earlier this week, the university announced the addition of a women's flag football team beginning in the 2026-27 academic year.
