Salisbury University athletes

Eight Salisbury University student-athletes were named to the At-Large College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams (Salisbury University Athletics).

SALISBURY, M.D. - Two local athletes are a part of a group of eight Salisbury University student-athletes that were named to the At-Large College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams, which recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their performance on and off the field. 

The Salisbury student-athletes honored include Ryan Della, Michael Delano, Kelly Davis, Alex Kupper, Emma Wivell, Paige Ellis, Audrey Harrington and Miranda Mears. The student-athletes represents the men's lacrosse, field hockey, women's golf and the women's lacrosse teams.

Kelly Davis

Kelly Davis, who attended Delmar High School, earned a 3.9 in interdisciplinary studies (Salisbury University Athletics). 

Miranda Mears

Miranda Mears, who attended Parkside High School, achieved a 3.8 grade point average in physical education (Salisbury University Athletics).Â
