SALISBURY, MD -- Salisbury field hockey outlasted a scrappy York team 1-0 in the annual "Corners for Cancer" game.

The match's lone goal came at the two minute mark of the first quarter, as Julia Frankis zipped a pass through the York defense to Kaitlyn Demodna, who handles it well and rips one into the net.

That would serve as the difference maker, as the Gulls survived a grit and grind, defensive battle to move to 11-0.

Salisbury will travel to Grantham, PA, to take on Rochester (N.Y.) to try and keep their undefeated season going as the postseason quickly approaches.
