PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- Evan Johnson missed a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer as Morgan State prevails, 75-72, over UMES on Saturday night. 

The Hawks cut a 72-62 deficit down to three points in the final minute of regulation. Cardell Bailey set a new career-high with 27 points to carry Maryland-Eastern Shore back into the game. Morgan State's Daniel Akitoby set a new best of his own with 23 points and 10 rebounds to power the Bears.Â
